Miner's Ace Hardware is a family business founded in 1956 by brothers, Lee and Glenn Miner. In 1982 Mike Miner, Lee’s oldest son, was named President of Miner’s Ace Hardware. Mike had worked in the store during high school and while attending Cal Poly. After college, he became a licensed contractor, and later managed a successful major appliance store with his father, Lee, but eventually returned to the family hardware business. The ensuing years saw significant change and expansion as Miner’s Ace Hardware began to branch out.
Paul Filice, Mike’s son-in-law, began working in the business in 2004 and was soon managing the Morro Bay location. A few years later he became VP of Sales and was named President in 2008, with Mike switching to the role of CEO.
Today, Miner's Ace Hardware remains a family-owned and operated business committed to legendary customer service by outstanding employees. It ranks among the top 10 Ace Retailers nationwide.

Helping Each Other Out Brighten was founded when three entrepreneurs and longtime friends caught up with each other to discuss their latest projects.
