Get involved
There are many ways to get involved and support TalentDreams. Advisors are instrumental in helping us achieve our mission. These are people in the community who really believe in what we’re building with TalentDreams and want to be involved. They decide their level of involvement and we benefit from their participation. For many, it’s just an opportunity to be a valuable resource for us to tap into. For others, it’s almost a “bench”, where they can warm up for a potential future board seat should one open up that’s a good fit in the future.
Our goal is to look back decades from now, and celebrate milestones like a “25-year anniversary” where an Advisor has been involved in supporting TalentDreams. Below are the different types of Advisor roles we have-- let us know if you'd like to get involved!
Executive Advisor
Each Executive Advisor brings something different to the table. Collectively, our Executive Advisors lend tremendous knowledge, insight, and decades of nonprofit experience to the operating team at TalentDreams. We rely on their expertise and assistance, and we are deeply indebted for their help. An Executive Advisor has specific experience we benefit from.
Board Observers
Board Observers are closely tied in with the Board of Directors and have the option to attend board meetings as an observer. While they don’t have any official influence on the board, they have a unique and privileged opportunity to stay closely involved with the development of TalentDreams.
Brand Ambassadors
Brand Ambassadors are key individuals from the community who believe in our mission and support the program. They want to have a level of involvement, and while they do not typically attend board meetings, they have a degree of access and opportunity to engage directly through various channels, by supporting Projects and participating in Committees for example. Celebrity (VIP) Brand Ambassadors
Celebrity or VIP Brand Ambassadors are celebrities or other high-level individuals who believe in our mission and support the program. They may want to have a level of involvement, do not typically attend board meetings, but have a degree of access and opportunity to engage directly through various channels. They are publicly recognized people who represent TalentDreams in some public way. They may be open to doing a LiveSync which gives members exclusive access to meet and learn from them.
Friends of the Program
Friends of the Program are everyday folks who believe in our mission and support the program. They think what we're trying to do with TalentDreams is a worthwhile endeavor, and are willing to put their name behind it to help show our donors how important this is.
